Cool vSphere 4.1 Feature: Cluster Operational Status
There’s a cool new feature added to vSphere 4.1 for HA. If an error occurs you can easily check what the issue is by going to your cluster and clicking the “Cluster Operational Issues” line on the Summary tab.
If there are no issues the screen will be completely gray. I forced an issue though so you can see what is shows. Note that is also shows the “Role” of the host and in this case it is a Secondary Node!

Synchronous Configuration Changes
In ISA Server 2004 and 2006 there was a difference in the behavior of configuration changes between Standard Edition and Enterprise Edition.
In Standard Edition, the configuration change operation was synchronous. This means that applying the configuration completed after the new configuration was stored and loaded by the ISA Server computer (which was always the same computer).
In Enterprise Edition, the configuration change operation was asynchronous. This means that applying the configuration completed after the new... [Lire la suite]

Why all Exchange ActiveSync experiences aren’t the same… and how to know what you’re getting
One of the most frequent questions I get as the Product Manager for Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) is for a list of EAS-enabled devices and what functionality they support. This is often a difficult thing to provide since Microsoft licenses patents (which are Microsoft’s Intellectual Property) to EAS licensees. Along with licensing our Intellectual Property (IP), we provide public access to the Exchange ActiveSync protocol documentation. IP licensing does not include Microsoft writing the code for the licensee’s devices or services— that... [Lire la suite]
