VMware Boomerang has a new release.

The developper, Adam Gross has just released new update which fixes some bug fixes and also support for View Desktops. In this release, you are able to choose between the RDP or PCoIP protocol when launching remote desktop. The remote session using PCoIP does provide the same user experience as with the VMware View client.

I’m actually using boomerang on my laptop, where the VMware Boomerang launches with Windows, and connects directly to my ESXi hosts in my lab, since I saved my credentials.

VMware Boomerang is a radically simple client application that allows you to use multiple vSphere servers simultaneously. Simply select “Add a Server…” to connect and login to an ESXi or VirtualCenter server and you will be presented with a list of all available virtual machines.
