Exchange 2013 has only two roles and the protocols handled by the roles are different to the ones in 2010.   In 2013, all types of clients connect to the CAS role. A number of Exchange guys are posting in various forums about this error message that appears very early in the Exchange 2013 setup process. It has been a while since I blogged about RVTools, but I just received an email from Rob saying that there is an update out so I figured it was about time.
