Free tools for VMware View

In these days of recession I thought it would be a good idea to sum up a couple of free tools which you can use designing, implementing and maintaining a VMware View Infrastructure. Cloud : sortez couverts !

Le cabinet Ernst & Young vient de publier l'édition 2012 de son enquête annuelle sur la sécurité informatique. Si son coût augmente, la sécurité n'est pas, elle, forcément croissante, notamment à cause du cloud computing. L'enquête Global Information Security Survey 2012 du cabinet Ernst & Young, réalisée auprès de 1850 managers IT dans le monde, confirme que le budget consacré dans le monde à la sécurité informatique continue sa progression. IBM lance Storwize V3700, une baie de stockage d'entrée de gamme

Big Blue a dévoilé une baie de stockage d'entrée de gamme, Storwize V3700, dont le prix débute à 11 000 dollars. La solution de stockage d'entrée de gamme, Storwize V3700, présentée par IBM, comprend plusieurs fonctionnalités comme la virtualisation ou le thin provisioning. Ces dernières peuvent gérer ensemble une combinaison de stockage avec des disques dur et des SSD, précise la firme d'Armonk. Cette gestion a été simplifiée par une interface utilisateur améliorée. Dell Wyse encourages BYOD with centralized IT management for mobile devices

Dell's latest BYOD solution is a cloud-based, centralized IT management console for managing mobile devices. Adobe, Microsoft sync up patch schedule in overdue move

Better late than never. Adobe will follow Microsoft's Patch Tuesday schedule to bring some normalcy to the patching process. Adobe has adopted Microsoft's Patch Tuesday schedule in a move that's welcome and way overdue. The company on Tuesday issued an update that patched a bevy of Flash security issues. Release: Microsoft User Experience Virtualization 1.0

Today Microsoft announced the release of version 1.0 of its User Environment Management (UEM) solution User Experience Virtualization, also known as UE-V. UE-V together with App-V 5.0 was first announced a public beta in April this year.
