-->... [Lire la suite]

The mistery of the missing emails

Hello everybody! This post was inspired by a gifted user (in this story I will call her Barbara Streisand), who opened a ticket asking about some missing email sent to him by a colleague (Park Jae-Sang) but that she has never seen in his mailbox. And the more PSY is sending her email, the less she can read them!! How crazy!! You know, apart when you find a bug, email flow is the main business of Exchange, so it’s almost impossible that an email is not delivered without any notification to the sender…   --> Please see the...

How Anonymous Relay works in Exchange 2013

This article is to provide you, the reader, the knowledge on how to properly create an Exchange 2013 Relay Connector. In Exchange 2013, I am utilizing a multi-role server that has both the Client Access Server and Mailbox Server roles. We’ll want to head to the mail flow section in the Exchange Administration Center (EAC) that you can access by going to https://OWA.domain.com/ECP. --> Please see the rest on the blog : http://www.shudnow.net/2013/06/04/how-anonymous-relay-works-in-exchange-2013/

Part 1: Reverse Proxy for Exchange Server 2013 using IIS ARR

For a long time, ForeFront TMG (and ISA before it) has been the go-to Microsoft reverse proxy solution for many applications, including Exchange Server. However, with no more development roadmap for TMG 2010 a lot of customers are looking out for an alternative solution that works well with Exchange Server 2013. The Windows team have added an additional component called Application Request Routing (ARR, or as Greg the pirate says, ARR!) 2.5 to the Internet Information Service (IIS) role, which enables IIS to handle reverse proxy... Exchange 2013 Security Update MS13-061 And The Team’s Frankness

The security update MS13-061 created a mess for Exchange 2013 administrators and it has been pulled out.   The security update that came with other Exchange releases caused the database indexing to fail, removed the host controller service and created a new one called “Host Controller service for Exchange”. Anyone who have installed this security update need to follow KB2879739 to resolve the issue. Anyone thinking of rolling it out, please don’t do it The Exchange team issued a statement in their blog regarding the issue... [Lire la suite]
