vRanger 6.0 Enhanced with Physical Server Backup

Quest Software unveiled new vRanger 6.0 product. This new, enhanced version of vRanger, will be able to backup not only VMware vSphere architecture, but through the same UI you’ll be able to backup/restore physical hosts as well. The “IIS 6 WMI Compatibility” Component Is Required Error While Upgrading To Exchange 2010 SP2…

While upgrading to Exchange 2010 SP2 using the GUI, you will come across the error message shown below. This only happens while upgrading the CAS role. The reason is that the CAS requires a new pre-requisite for supporting OWA mini (a new feature in SP2). Release: Citrix XenServer 6.0.0

n March this year Citrix released a first public beta of the next version of XenServer called Project Boston, followed by another beta release in July this year. Now Citrix has released XenServer 6.0, which provides networking, performance and scalability improvements, based on the Xen hypervisor. Fixing Hyper-V Virtual Machines sticking at 6% starting

A while ago I noticed that when I started virtual machines on Hyper-V on my laptop – they were taking just over a minute to start.  Looking at the Hyper-V management console showed that for most of this time the virtual machine was sitting at “Starting (6%)” under the status column.
