Building a driver library in VMware Horizon Mirage
Here’s a guest post by Robert Tindall who explains the process one would go through to build a driver Library in Horizon Mirage. This is commonly done when working with Horizon Mirage Base Layers, Restores, and Reverting to snapshots. the following guides you through the process of extracting drivers from the manufacture and gives examples of how you can logically structure your device drivers folders for that manufacture, Model, OS Type etc.

IMPORTANT : Dernière update de Microsoft (KB2823324) entraîne un incident sur Antivirus
Bonjour à tous,
Un update Microsoft vient de sortir mardi : KB2823324 , il met un jour un driver. Il a été constaté des incidents sous Kaspersky et d’autres antivirus (suppression de la licence, Checkdisk à tous les reboot, etc..)
Il est préconisé de ne pas mettre à jour cette KB.
A faire suivre à vos clients Kaspersky. Des correctifs développés hier peuvent être fournis à la demande par Kaspersky

VMworld: Is it a Scalability Issue to run Drivers in the Hyper-V Parent Partition? (Answer: No)
I am sitting in the VMworld session “TA3880 - Head-To-Head Comparison: VMware vSphere and ESX vs. Hyper-V and XenServer”. It is interesting to listen to VMware’s perspective on this.
One point that they have raised – which I have heard before – is that VMware ESX has better scalability than Hyper-V because they run their drivers in the hypervisor, while we run our drivers in the parent partition.
