Microsoft slashes product key allowances for TechNet subscribers

For the second time in two years, Microsoft has significantly cut the benefits it offers to TechNet subscribers. Will the newly reduced allotments of Windows and Office product keys really reduce piracy or just annoy Microsoft’s customers? Microsoft’s TechNet program is one of the best bargains in personal computing. For an annual subscription price of $349, TechNet Professional subscribers get access to nearly every release of every operating system (desktop and server) and Office suite. Exchange 2010 SP2 AD Schema Changes…

Microsoft has released a word document which explains all the AD schema changes for Exchange 2010 SP2 to install and work properly. Download the doc here. To my surprise, the same doc has all the AD schema changes for Exchange 2007 & 2003. Setting SMTP Banner In Exchange 2010…

All Exchange admins are familiar with the SMTP banner. It is the response received by a remote server after it connects to the receive connector of an Exchange 2010 Hub or Edge server. If the SMTP banner is not set on a receive connector, the default response will have the fqdn of the server, along with the information that the server in use is a Microsoft one. AD Modify .Net : modifications en masses dans AD /Exchange
