La suite Backup and Disaster Recovery rassemble trois logiciels issus des rachats de Dell mais pas encore intégrés entre eux. AppAssure, NetVault Backup et vRanger vont être proposés par Dell dans une suite logicielle pour simplifier la gestion des licences. Veeam Explorer for Exchange presented by Rick Vanover. I passed by the Veeam’s stand and Rick Vanover from Veeam was able to show me a quick demo of new cool feature (yes feature) that will be built into Veeam Backup and Replication 6.5. The feature is called Veeam Explorer for Exchange, and it’s a feature that will be present also in the Free version of Veeam. Some thoughts about MS Exchange recovery possibilities. I’ve done quite a few Exchange Server installations in my carreer. Both physical and virtual. The installation and migration processes are quite ok, but when it comes to possible recovery (recovery of DB, recovery of e-mail accounts or recovery individual emails) there are many solutions. Quest Software unveiled new vRanger 6.0 product. This new, enhanced version of vRanger, will be able to backup not only VMware vSphere architecture, but through the same UI you’ll be able to backup/restore physical hosts as well.
