I was just made aware of this issue with the vSphere 5.1 performance history charts. The symptoms are straight forward: You see only the last 30 days of performance history in the ‘past year’ view Only one month of performance history appears when trying to see the past year VMware is working on a solution for the problem currently. I was doing some testing with vCenter Server 5.1.0b this Wednesday and Thursday and just noticed it was released today. Those who were experiencing time-out issues with the web client or were unable to login to the web client using a non-standard UPN as an AD user will want to check this release out. I received a question today from someone who wanted to know the difference for isolation detection between vSphere 5.0 and 5.1. Trilead has released version 4.1 of its backup solution for Virtual Machines VM Explorer. VM Explorer Backups can be stored on ESX, Windows, Linux and FreeBSD based storage platforms or directly to a SAN. Don’t like that enormous waste of space your browser takes for tabs, URLs, and bookmarks, when trying to get used to the new VMware vSphere Web Client GUI?
