Microsoft ouvre le service Outlook.com, un concurrent sérieux pour Gmail
Avec son nouveau webmail Outlook.com, Microsoft frappe un grand coup. Cette offre moderne interagit avec les réseaux sociaux et Skype, propose un accès aux Office Web Apps et s’allie à SkyDrive.
Microsoft lance aujourd’hui Outlook.com Preview, la version bêta de son nouveau service de messagerie en ligne(à découvrir ici en images).

VMware améliore sa suite Zimbra Collaboration Server
Le fournisseur de solution de virtualisation a publié une version bêta de sa suite collaborative Zimbra. L'édition 8.0 intègre les communications unifiées et promet une simplification de sa mise en oeuvre.
En attendant la version finale, qui devrait être livrée plus tard ce trimestre, VMware propose depuis hier en téléchargement la version 8.0 bêta de son logiciel Zimbra Collaboration Server. If you’re an Exchange admin happy about how Exchange ActiveSync just hums along with mobile devices supporting the EAS protocol, and the multitude of devices that can now access Exchange without any admin intervention (OTA device activation and all that…), but also unhappy about the multitude of devices that can now access Exchange without any admin intervention, there’s news for you.

Exchange ActiveSync and Windows Phone 7 "phantom data" issue
Some of you may have seen stories about higher than expected data usage for a very small percentage of Windows Phone 7 users being caused by an inefficiency between Windows Phone 7 client and Yahoo! Mail. You may have also seen that these stories mention that there is a separate Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) issue that is impacting a small percentage of users.
