VMware vSphere 5.x and Windows 2012 possible Data corruption

POSSIBLE DATA CORRUPTION ISSUE, MUST READ! Sorry for starting this way, but this is a big deal, and I wanted to make sure you catch this when scanning through the weekend spam. Apparently, VMware issued a support KB article on this issue a few weeks ago, but it totally flew under the radar (I have not seen a single tweet or blog about this). Enhanced vmxnet in ESX 3.5 Update 4

One of the enhancements in ESX 3.5 Update 4 is the support for vmxnet. The support for this adapter is a lot better since Update 4 is released. It is possible now that you can add the Enhanced vmxnet adapter to a Windows Server 2003 VM without goint through a workaround described in http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1007195.
