VMware Horizon View Features Pack 1.0 – what it brings and what’s it’s good for?

VMware Horizon View Features Pack 1.0 was the missing piece of software that I recently pointed out after the Horizon View release. Release: VMware Horizon View 5.2 Feature Pack 1

At the end of last month, VMware announced the Horizon Suite, part of the Horizon suite is VMware’s VDI product view which was rebranded to VMware Horizon View and at that time updated to version 5.2. Access denied on Admin share in Windows 2012

One thing you may not know is that when you add a disk to a Windows 2012 virtual machine under vSphere 5, it gets added and tagged as removable. The consequence of this tag is that when you try to access that disk using \\servername\e$, a popup message appear: "Windows cannot access \\servername\e$ You do not have permission to access \\servername\e$. Administration distante – Windows Srv 8

Aujourd’hui nous allons avoir un avant-gout des nouveautés introduites dans Windows Serveur 8 du côté de PowerShell (qui passe en v3). J’ai ajouté dans mon domaine une machine sous Windows Server 8 Preview. Lync 2010 – problem 4003 (INSUFF_ACCESS_RIGHTS)

Bonjour,Lors de l’activation d’un utilisateur (avec des droits d’administrateur dans votre infrastructure) sous Lync 2010 vous pouvez rencontrer l’erreur « problem 4003 (INSUFF_ACCESS_RIGHTS) ». Exchange 2010 Personal Archives and Client Access

In Exchange 2010, you can provision Personal Archives for your users. A personal archive, or an archive mailbox, is an additional mailbox where users can move older messages or messages that they don’t need to access frequently but may still want to retain for a longer period. You can also apply a Retention Policy to mailboxes to have old email moved to the archive after a certain period. One of the biggest resources of information for me personally always has been the VMworld Presentations. I usually download every single presentation and store them in a separate folder and index them and read most of them at least once and some of them multiple times.
